The Human Immunodeficiency Virus Dependent Quality of Life (HIVDQoL) questionnaire is an individualised, self-completion questionnaire, specifically designed to measure QoL and the impact on QoL in people living with HIV.

Included in the HIVDQoL are a total of 28 items, this includes two overview items designed for audit purposes which measure generic ‘present QoL’ and HIV-specific ‘impact of HIV on QoL’ and 26 domain-specific items that measure the impact of having HIV on specific individual aspects of life and the importance of these for QoL.
