Charlie leads the design and development of new questionnaires, and assists research colleagues who are leading other PROM development projects. In addition to this main role, he is also interested in the optimization of questionnaire data analysis. This work is published in academic journals and at research society conferences.

Charlie also advises users of HPR PROMs on best practices, reviews electronic adaptations, and works with business partners to improve access to HPR PROMs.
