Development of new CancerDQoL Questionnaire

We are currently working on the development and evaluation of a new individualised measure of cancer dependent quality of life (the CancerDQoL). The measure will follow the same established format and structure as existing DQoL measures for other conditions.

  • Initial development work involving CD interviews with 25 English-speaking patients attending a cancer centre in Zimbabwe has been completed.
  • CD interviews with 10 UK cancer patients attending Maggie’s centres in Scotland and London are currently underway.
  • Psychometric validation work is planned to start shortly with recruitment taking place at Barts NHS Foundation Trust.

Check back here soon for further information and updates.
