NOTE: The VenousTSQ is a newly developed questionnaire and, although in current use, psychometric analyses have not been completed. Individual items can be scored but total scores and subscales have yet to be reported.
The VenousTSQ early (VenousTSQe) and the VenousTSQ status (VenousTSQs) are designed to measure all aspects of treatment satisfaction relevant to people receiving treatment for varicose veins. Treatment of this condition usually involves a single procedure to either ablate, close or remove problematic veins. The VenousTSQ is the first to have an ‘early’ questionnaire which focuses on important aspects of treatment satisfaction that need to be asked only once. The ‘status’ questionnaire consists of items that are useful to ask more than once, with several months between each administration, to monitor treatment satisfaction alters over time.
The VenousTSQe is designed to be administered once between 1 and 4 weeks post-procedure, while the VenousTSQs can be administered at several times starting 4 weeks after the procedure (similar to other status questionnaires – e.g., Diabetes Treatment Satisfaction Questionnaire status).
